Skating – Seoul

Here in seoul, Korea, I like skating on han river park bike path.
It is stretched alongside the han river both to the south and the north. It is about 50 km long on the southern part of the han river. There are many other branch bike pathes too. But, I usually skate on the southern path. I’ve also skated on the northern part of the river two times, but didn’t travel all the way. I’ve skated only some part of the northen path. I think it is a little shorter than the southern trail. When skating on the han river park bike path, I have to pass under numerous han river briges.
Those briges provide people with cool shadows during the hot summer. So many inliners, bikers , and strollers can rest under the bridges and regain energy. The surface of the path is paved with asphalt.
Its width is sometime narrow, at other time very wide and comfortable. The surface is sometimes bumpy ,at other times smooth and very rarely silky. There are a few steep uphills that test your strength and some beautiful downhills where you enjoy the speed on skate. Lastly, When you are not careful, you can bump into bikers ,strollers, other inline skaters or even some cars that lost their ways and trucks that do maintenance jobs to the han river bridges and the bike path. God bless skaters with Safe and fun skating!
